Whats happening this month for YOU?

It's October 2025

It's October and we know its time to settle in as the Ghouls and Creepy films approach, YET it is more importantly soon to cast our minds thoughtfully to rembering those lost, and injured to save our country from peril, They sacrificed their lives for us to have peace, freedom, so we could feel safe at home in our own country.

 REMEMBRANCE DAY...

For those that fell ~ so we could live and rise each day.

 ~ Artist Statement ~

I work primarily in watercolour, a medium that allows me to capture the delicate beauty of nature with fluidity and light. Recently, I have also found great joy in exploring coloured pencil art, using quality Derwent Lightfast pencils. With their remarkable permanence—blue wool rated for 100 years—they offer me the chance to create work that can be treasured for generations.

My art often grows beyond the page, finding new life in design. I create scarves in silk, linen, and cotton—pieces that transform original artwork into something exquisite, wearable, and lasting. Alongside fashion, I design for the home: wraps, festive wrappings, and materials for crafting. In this way, I see my practice as part of a larger movement—a new revolution of art and craft—where creativity inspires both beauty and usefulness.

For me, art is not only about expression but about connection. Through my paintings and designs, I hope to bring colour, joy, and imagination into daily life, offering works that enrich homes and inspire the creative spirit in others

Tracy begins to explain her processes...thinking about the summer as the nights are already darker since the clocks went back on Sunday 26th Oct 2025.

....Remembering The  Summer of 2025...

A special idea bursted into Tracy's mind, as the Summer Sun shone, she took her first image of this 'Agapanthus' with the idea to let it flow to where it might lead.

It takes time to do the things in between - so patience is a virtue for sure.

She gathers ideas to create in many different forms.

What's its purpose going to be?

A painting,

a sketch only,

or use,

as a way,

to begin a design

for the Summer'26.

to be continued...on the Newsletter out In November 2025

 Plans for the future,

Begin with marking up what's important
